Larson Electronics
Larson Electronics manufactures the
Magnalight 12 volt spotlights with magnetic base and 12 volt searchlights with magnetic base with magnetic bases and 16 foot cords in Dallas, TX. These
industrial grade 12 volt spotlights
have been a staple of the cable, telephone and electric utility industry since
1967. Magnalight has since its beginnings expanded this to include the military/law enforcement
industries, federal and local governments, and emergency and first responder industries as well.
We carry a complete line of
HID off road and HID
equipment lights, including the Acro Light line.
HID flood lights with
permanent and magnetic mount options work on 12 and 24 volt DC systems and

The HAL-31L-LV is a low voltage hazardous location lighting solution approved for Class 1 Division 2 environments and 1598 compliant for use in wet locations. This powerful LED light produces 2416 lumens, operates from 12 or 24 VDC, and is available in a variety of configurations to allow tailoring to the specific requirements of various applications.
The HAL-31L-LV is designed to provide a high output and ruggedly durable lighting solution for applications where Class 1 Division 2 compliance is required. This low voltage explosion proof light can be operated with either 12 or 24 volt DC current and includes 6 feet of connecting lead with standard two wire configuration. This light is constructed of precision machined aluminum for excellent strength and durability and is rated IP66 for ingress protection against dust and direct exposure to high pressure water spray.
The HAL-31L-LV is also available in a 30 degree spotlight beam configuration for distance and a 100 degree configuration for wide area illumination and has a cool white color temperature for maximum illumination. The high output, cool running operation, and good color rendering properties of this light make it an ideal replacement for older, bulkier, and less reliable metal halide and high pressure sodium lamps.

Durability/Mounting: The HAL-31L-LV explosion proof LED light is constructed of machined aluminum for high strength and durability. The housing is IP66 rated, providing protection against intrusion into the housing from dusts, dirt, oils and water directly sprayed on the housing at high pressure. This design is weather resistant, suitable for indoor or outdoor applications, and ideal for areas where wetness or dusty conditions are commonly encountered.
The LEDs in this unit are Cree X-Lamp XR-E units that have been chosen for their high lumen per watt ratio and extreme long life. These Cree LEDs provide over 90 lumens per watt output and have a 70% lumen retention at 50,000 hours, giving them better efficiency and operational life than comparable LEDs.
Mounting for this unit is provided by an included aluminum yoke that allows vertical adjustment of the light once installed. The mounting yoke is 1 inch wide and predrilled with two ¼ inch holes spaced 2 inches apart for easy and secure mounting to flat surfaces. The entire assembly weighs 4.5 lbs and measures only 6.9 inches in diameter and 3 inches deep, making it ideal for mounting in areas where space is limited and a heavy fixture cannot be installed due to lack of support.
Wiring/Power: These hazardous location LED lights are equipped with 6 feet of cord containing a standard two wire (White+ Black-) connecting configuration. These lights operate from 12 to 24 volt DC current and draw 31 watts 2.64 amps on 12 VDC and 33 Watts 1.4 amps on 24 VDC.
Versatility: The HAL-31L-LV is ETL approved for Class 1 Division 2 groups A,B,C and D locations. This unit carries an IP66 waterproof rating ensuring protection against ingress from dusts, dirt, oils and water sprayed at high pressure directly on the fixture. This light is ideal for indoor or outdoor applications and industrial operations with hazardous location classification where dusty or wet conditions are commonly encountered.
These lights are also available in a 30 degree spotlight configuration for long beam length or 100 degree flood configuration for wide area coverage.

3 year warranty replacement on this LED light. After 30 days, the customer ships the failed LED light and/or LED bulb to Larson Electronics at their expense. If the failure is a manufacturer defect, we will ship a new replacement to the customer. If failure occurs within 30 days of receipt, Larson Electronics will provide a return label via email to the customer. When the failed light is returned, we will ship a new replacement. |
