Larson Electronics
Larson Electronics manufactures the
Magnalight 12 volt spotlights with magnetic base and 12 volt searchlights with magnetic base with magnetic bases and 16 foot cords in Dallas, TX. These
industrial grade 12 volt spotlights
have been a staple of the cable, telephone and electric utility industry since
1967. Magnalight has since its beginnings expanded this to include the military/law enforcement
industries, federal and local governments, and emergency and first responder industries as well.

The EPL-PLM-1x150LED-50 Explosion Proof LED Light from Magnalight is rated Class 1 Division 1-2 Groups C , D and Class 2 Division 1-2 and features a 10,000 lumen 16 inch LED light head and telescoping pole mount.
The EPL-PLM-1x150LED-50 is a telescoping pole mounted explosion proof LED light and provides 8,000 square feet of work area coverage with 10,000 lumens of light output. This portable LED light has an LED light head measuring 16 inches in diameter mounted on top of an adjustable aluminum pole equipped with a flush mounting base for attachment to walls, trailers, and other flat surfaces. The LED light head on this unit produces a wide flood pattern of light that is ideal for illuminating hazardous locations where flammable vapors, gases and dusts may be present. Aluminum construction, high power LED light output, and a high degree of adjustability make this an ideal lightweight alternative to heavy traditional metal halide or incandescent tripod lighting systems.
This unit is designed for versatility with a telescoping pole that allows operators to adjust the height from 3 feet to 12 feet, a fully maneuverable light head that can be adjusted both vertically and from side to side, and 50 feet of cord ending in an explosion proof plug.

This adjustable pole mounted LED light is comprised of a 16 inch LED light head fitted atop an adjustable adjustable pole fabricated from non sparking aluminum. The non sparking, adjustable and collapsible pole can be extended to twelve feet in height and collapsed to three feet, providing a high degree of versatility and portability. The base on this unit is designed to allow mounting to flat surfaces such as walls or trailers, and the entire unit can be removed from the base and collapsed, aiding in deployment, storage and transport. The lamp can be easily adjusted up, down, or from side to side, and locked into position. Included with this LED light is 50 feet of SOOW cord and an explosion proof plug, which combined with the 360 degrees of rotation and 90 degrees of tilt offered by the LED light head provides an effective alternative to standard tripod lights. |

This unit is also multi-voltage capable and can configured to operate on 120-277 volts 50/60 Hz. Further adding to the versatility and convenience of this explosion proof LED light are 25 peel off mylar overspray lamp protectors that ship with the unit. The protectors provide lamp protection from dirt or debris and can be removed, cleaned and replaced, lessening the need for tedious lamp cleaning or replacements. This lamp is T5 temperature rated and the LED light head retains 80% of its lumen output after 60,000 hours of use, far longer than incandescent or fluorescent lamps.
